What Did They Say!? Wednesday (A Linky Party)

One of the best parts of being a teacher is getting to hear all of the cute and innocent things that kids say!

What Did They Say!?

This week's story is another reminder that you have to always be careful what you say... even if it's "So-and-so stole the cookies from the cookie jar!"

I'm 99% positive that the first week of school one of my students went home and complained to his mom that I accused him of stealing cookies. Why am i convinced of this?

We did "Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?" and he started to throw a tantrum when I put his name in the song.  In the cutest, most innocent voice, he yelled "But I didn't steal the cookie!  I love cookies and I didn't steal them! Stop lying that I stole them!"

Yes... this only happens in the life of a kindergarten teacher!"

Now... it's time to share your cute kids story from this week!

Rules for the Linky Party:
  1. Share a story that one of your kids said on your blog!  If you don't have a blog, leave a comment with your story!
  2. Use the HTML code at the top of this post to link back to the post!
