1.5 Space Your Text!

Does it leave a little bit too much space in between your lines when you double space it?  If so, you may want to 1.5 space your text!  This keyboard shortcut works perfect in Microsoft Word!

I got this email today, and I like rhinos, so I'm spreading the word. Teaching Phonemic Awareness with Sight Words

I have been meaning to make these activities for a while and I finally had the time to do it!  Every time I teach my class a new sight words, we always look at the phonemic sounds that go into it.  I decided to make task cards for a center game that will be sure to help reinforce the phonics that go into the sight words!  I made two sets of cards: pre-primer words and primer words. I can't wait to use this lesson plan with my Kindergarten students tomorrow!
