Mega Giveaway! (Today only!!!)

Image
Okay, I admit it... I have been slightly neglecting my blog, but not because I haven't been doing work!  I've been working hard to prep for the new school year and for the Phonics, Vocabulary, and Comprehension PD that Katie (over at Kdot's Learning Spot ) and I have been working on! Well of course, this big TPT sale coming up tomorrow has inspired me to post a few of the things I've been working on!  And of course, to repay all of you for continuing to follow me even though I'm posting less frequently... I think I'll give away ALL OF MY NEW ITEMS today! :) And of course, if you don't win, all of these products will be on super sale tomorrow and Monday! (Props to Krista  from  The Creative Chalkboard  for the amazing sign!!) Now... let's see what you can win! I'm going to start with the project that took me the most time.  I made videos that are about 5 minutes long each for each letter of the alphabet!  And even though the video itself is only about...

Phonics Worksheets Mega-Pack, Soft C Freebie, and a Giveaway!

Image
I had to do report cards this weekend... so of course it was time for some major procrastinating!  I decided to "cute up" some items for RTI for my struggling students.  I mostly have to focus on beginning short vowel sounds with a few of my little ones, but of course, I was on a roll, so I decided to re-vamp the whole alphabet!  Here's the whole set of letters... with a whopping 13 pages per letter!!! Since I really only need to review phonics for short vowels with a handful of students, I decided to print these pages in a binder and use dry-erase markers for  those targeted for Response to Intervention!  I printed it on colorful paper since it was almost all black and white ink... and I LOVE how it looked (as did the kids!)  Check it out below! And of course, next year, I'll be using many of the worksheets earlier in the year when I teach phonics.  Now that I have so many cute worksheets for phonics, I kind of wish I taught a Letter of the Week, but ...

Gingerbread Handwriting Book! (4th Day of Giveaways!)

Image
Just because it's December doesn't mean that our handwriting is perfect yet (even though I wish it was!)  Use this cute little gingerbread book to help reinforce proper letter formation!   The numbered lines will help students write the letters properly, and the gingerbread theme is sure to catch their eye! The past few days, I had you guess my favorite Christmas story, movie, and song.  This time... guess where I'm going to be tomorrow to celebrate Christmas day!  My house, my parents house, or my in-laws house?  This time, everyone who guesses correctly will win, not just the first two people!   Update: Thanks to everyone for guessing!  This year we actually hosted Christmas at our house!  It was the first time we did it and I just loved hosting!!!  Congratulations Heather, Steph, and Pat!  Steph and Pat, please leave me a comment with your email address so I can send you the writing book!

Help Your Kids With Those Tricky Teen Numbers 11-20!

Image
Aren't those tricky teen numbers the worst!?  My kids always struggle with them, but these poems and visuals definitely make a difference! These visuals also match the signs I made months ago for numbers 0-10, which you can check out below: Now, for the 2nd of my 5 days of giveaways, I thought I'd give away of both of those products, but... there's a catch!  You have to guess my favorite Christmas movie (and leave your email address of course!).  I'll give you one hint: it's a cartoon! The first two people to guess correctly will win both sets of number writing poems!  Update 12/23... My favorite Christmas movie is Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer! Karyn over at A is for Apple, B is for Blog guessed it correctly!  Since no one else guessed Rudolph, I'll go with the first person to guess my second favorite Christmas movie... Frosty the Snowman!  Suzy Q was the first one to guess that one!  Congratulations ladies... and be sure to check back for tomorrow's...

PBS Kids Play Review & 2x $100 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway!!!

Image
If you're familiar with how amazing the PBS Kids website is, that you'll absolutely LOVE PBS Kids Play !!  I have to say I was impressed with every single part of this website.... I barely even know where to start for my review! It was so easy to create a class, and it's so easy for students to choose whose class they are in based on this cute logo.  This program was clearly designed for K-1! When you're logged into the teacher account, it's so easy to add your students also.  You can pick a really cute logo for them so that they know which is theirs (even if they can't yet read their name). You can even set a time limit for the student!  I absolutely love this!  I set up my students for 15 minutes, and after 15 minutes it kicks them out.  But... the best part is, if you want to let them stay on for a few more minutes all you have to do is enter your teacher password!  So the limit is set in stone... unless you want it to be otherwise! Once you input ...

I have so many exciting things to write about today! First things first, I created another set of monthly frames (similar to my September/Back to School Frames).  This time, it's a set of 22 frames... and they're all FREE!!! On a side note, this is the 75th product I have posted at TPT and the 38th freebie !  Click the picture to grab them at TPT (and be sure to check out my other products and freebies while you're there!!)   I have so much making these frames and I'll definitely be making another set for November! On another exciting note... yesterday was my birthday!  I took some time to relax and enjoy myself with some of my favorite people!  I made this fun e-card as a birthday present to myself.. and it was much more fun than cutting out the lamination that I'm still avoiding! While I was making that fun e-card I got an email from Charity over at Classroom Freebies to let me that I've been moved up from Classroom Freebies Too up to the "big league...
